Eurorack Oscilloscope Module
The Dave Jones Design O'Tool Plus is a Eurorack oscilloscope module for displaying information about audio and CV signals. The two-channel oscilloscope has a color LCD display, internal and external triggers and some other features that are interesting for audio and video artists. The application possibilities are manifold: for example for level measurement, as VU meter or spectrum analyzer and much more.
Features of the Dave Jones O'Tool Plus
Multifunctionality is one of the key features of Dave Jones' O'Tool Plus. A variety of applications are possible with the oscilloscope module, which can be configured and stored by the user to quickly switch between the functions. The O'Tool can be used for the following applications:

- linear and logarithmic spectrum analyzer
- spectrogram
- 3D Scope
- X/Y display
- frequency meter
- Guitar and Oscillator Tuner
- BPM Counter

- DC Voltmeter

- Trigger input
- four control buttons
- Rear expander connection
- Rear panel jumper to switch between external +5V source and internally generated +5V voltage (off +12V voltage)

This is a very handy tool to have, the display is really clear, the different modes are adapted to the use in a modular context. More direct control would have been great to facilitate navigation but it's not deal-breaker.

This is a great product. Versatile, informative, easy to use and well built. Also, great that it is in a small form factor. Definitely recommend.

This is an expensive toy if you've never used an oscilloscope, but if you took an electronics class or used them your entire career as I did, this is a sophisticated tool optimized to control voltage synths. As of this writing, even though this instrument is manufactured in the USA, only Music Store had one in stock anywhere on the planet, and delivered it to my door in just 4 days at a fair price.
